LEA’S STORY

Lea was found abandoned by the roadside, lost and terrified, running back and forth with no idea whom to approach or where to hide. She had been left behind without a shred of remorse. She didn’t know what safety felt like, or gentleness, or a kind word. When she arrived to us, still frozen with fear, she looked around as if checking whether the danger had truly passed. And then, slowly, she began to trust — first cautiously, then with growing courage, as if the world had finally opened up for her. Today, Lea is calm, tender, and grateful — a dog who asks for just a little space, a little food, and far less love than she actually deserves. The most important thing is that she is never abandoned again.
