CLAIRE’S STORY

Claire’s story may be one of the saddest we have ever heard, because for as long as she can remember, she has never had the chance to experience a carefree life. She was born in a shelter in rural Serbia and spent nearly a year there, waiting for someone to offer her a home and the love she deserved. When that finally happened, it seemed as though her happiness had finally arrived. Sadly, the person who adopted her soon decided that Claire had become too much of a responsibility. Attempts were made to return her, there were changes of heart, and she was even going to be given away to someone else without our consent. Fortunately, thanks to the rules and safeguards that exist to protect animals, Claire was rescued once again and brought back to safety. Despite being let down multiple times by the people she trusted, Claire has never lost her gentle nature or her desire to belong to someone. She is sweet, affectionate, and deserves a family that will welcome her as a cherished member of the household rather than a temporary obligation. After everything she has been through, it is finally time for Claire to find the forever home she has been waiting for—a place where she will be loved, valued, and never have to wonder if she belongs again.
