Her story didn’t have the happiest beginning — she hid between the shelves of a local store, and then jumped into our car like an action‑movie star. She quite literally saved herself. We took her in and helped her recover, and recently the adorable Misti moved into her new home. There, she loves to explore, sneak around, and is always ready for a new adventure.
Borko is a young cat we rescued as a tiny kitten from the Miljakovac forest, together with twelve other kittens and two adult cats. They hadn’t even opened their eyes yet, and already they had to fight for their lives. Borko grew into a true handsome boy, and recently he moved to Novi Sad to live with Javier. He loves to play, spends a good part of the day sleeping, and is now a real member of the family.
Mrvica is, as her Serbian name suggests, tiny, small dog. She weighs only three and a half kilograms. We found her alone by the side of the road while cars were passing by. No one stopped to help her and get her to safety. That’s what we did. Mrvica is vaccinated, sterilized, microchipped and has recently been enjoying in her new home.
Bianca has had only one wish for months – to find a home and a family that will love her. We saved her together with her brother and sisters from the same litter. Little Bianca’s dreams finally came true – she has a new home.
She was born on the street. Nothing nice awaited her there. As soon as we rescued her she got parvo-virus. She barely survived. Today she is fully recovered and has a new home and people who will be the center of her doggy world.
We met Beri at a veterinary station. He is only two years old, but his owner did not want him any longer. We took him in, took care of him and adopted him into the best family. Beri now has a chance for a new, happier life.
She was left in the parking lot along with her puppies. The negligent owner did not sterilize her and thus prevent an unwanted birth, but threw her out onto the street with puppies. After 2 years, she went to a new home.
Lea is a beautiful chihuahua mix. Tiny, with modest needs, but even that has become redundant. Many people contacted us about her, primarily because she is so small. We found the best home for Lea and helped her continue her life in love and happiness.
It doesn’t happen often that our friends contact us to adopt one of our pets. Not because our friends are bad people, but because they have many animals themselves. This baby was lucky enough to be adopted by our friend Ljilja.
Who says a black kitten can’t be adopted! Bottle-fed, he patiently waited for his chance. And, now he has a loving home. We adopted Vid and his sister Vida to a wonderful, young people! Their story is an inspiration for all of us.
