Snoopy runs with Goran

In a very short time, little Snoopy went through so much. He ended up on the street, then was caught and taken to the ‘Zoohigijena’ shelter in Novi Sad, from where we took him. He gets along with all dogs and is incredibly gentle and affectionate. That’s exactly how he arrived to his new human, Goran. The two of them now run together, go on long walks, and spend time with their friends.

Pongo – the boss

Pongo is one of three adorable little ones who ended up in the woods as a result of irresponsible ownership — unloved, unwanted, and discarded. We took them in to keep them safe. Pongo grew up with us and learned never to lose faith in people. Recently, he got a new friend, also adopted, and now spends most of his day napping in the director’s chair of his adopter, Zaklina.

It’s never too late

Nada is a dog we found a few years ago on Easter. With a broken leg and pyometra, she was struggling to move along a main road. Her leg was operated on and she made a full recovery. Many people asked about her, but no one wanted Nada as a companion — only as a hunting dog. After six long years of waiting, Nada has finally been adopted! She now lives in Novi Sad with a wonderful woman named Marina.

Mirko goes to “Padinjak”

Mirko was abandoned in the Miljakovac forest together with his brothers and sisters. Along with two mother cats, they were left at the mercy of wild animals and stray dogs. We took all of them in — all fifteen! They grew up with us and slowly prepared for life, including little Mirko. Recently, Mirko moved to “Padinjak” — not to a prison, but to a wonderful new home.

No longer hiding

Sarica was hiding in the tall grass by a busy road, trembling with fear as cars rushed past her. She was so tiny and lost that she could barely lift her little head, as if hoping someone would finally notice her. When we saw her, she looked as though she had already given up… We took her in and cared for her, and now Sarica finally has a home of her own.

Ain’t cold no more

At only six months old, Pufi had already survived cold that could have cost her life. We found her nearly frozen on the Sava embankment — alone, frightened, and silent… We rescued her, brought her somewhere warm, and gave her a second chance at life. Today, Pufi is a modest, gentle, and affectionate cat who finally enjoys safety and sleeps peacefully in her new home.

A boy from Miljakovac

Bosko went through something no living being should ever experience — and he was only a kitten. Together with two adult cats and twelve other kittens, he was thrown into the forest and left at the mercy of the wild. He grew up with us, and recently he moved into his new home. Bosko has shown himself to be an incredibly sweet and gentle boy — affectionate, cuddly, and always ready for love.

Miss Prada

Prada is a cat who survived quite an adventure — she was found running along the Ibarska highway after cars like a dog. We rescued her before she ended up under the wheels and took her in. Fully recovered, Prada moved to her new home in mid‑January. She still loves to explore, but she also knows how to enjoy quiet moments when she curls up and rests.

Louis’ new life

Louis is a young tomcat we found exhausted and frozen under one of Belgrade’s bridges. We quickly brought him to safety and gave him the care he had never known. Today, he is completely healthy, affectionate, and full of energy — as if he knows he’s been given a second chance. And now he has finally found his forever home, someone who will love him and care for him for the rest of his life.

Blacky from the fields

Blacky was found together with two other kittens in a field, left in a deep furrow. They were curled up, exhausted, barely meowing, and every passing tractor or stray dog could have been their last moment. We found him and brought him to safety. Since then, Blacky has made a full recovery and grown into a wonderful young cat who has recently begun enjoying life in his new home.
