AYSHA’S STORY

Aysha is an elderly, noble cat who spent more than fifteen years faithfully living by her owner’s side. When her owner moved into a care home, Aysha suddenly lost everything she had ever known — the relatives took the apartment, and there was ‘no place’ for her. We took her in at the request of our longtime veterinarian. She was confused and frightened, unable to understand why she had been left behind. Although she is older and many would immediately say that ‘no one will want her,’ Aysha deserves the opposite — peace, safety, and a dignified old age. She is a quiet, gentle soul who asks only for a warm spot and a little love. After a lifetime of loyalty, the least we can do is give her the calm, carefree days she has earned.”
