Like all our dogs, Mica was rescued from the street. Small in stature, young, he wouldn’t have had a chance to survive if we hadn’t taken him with us. After almost a year with us, Mica was adopted! Now he is a real companion!
He hid under the car, the children dragged him, and he endured everything. We took him to our place, then to a vet.. Our acquaintances wanted to give Perica a new home. And little Perica was adopted!
Svrca is an adorable little dog that we found by the road. He quickly got used to us and our other animals. Since recently, he has been enjoying his new home in the company of his adopter, Maria from Sremski Karlovci.
Zuca is a very ordinary dog. And as such, he wandered the streets of Novi Sad. No one wanted to meet him! But, if he did, he would understand that Zuca is the smartest dog in the world. He stayed with us until we found him a proper home. He captured Ljilja’s heart and stayed there.
We found her exhausted, hungry and thirsty in an abandoned barn while visiting relatives. Lisa is a pure-bred hunting dog. For some reason she was left to die. We rescued her and adopted her into a wonderful family. Lisa is happy again!
Cici was rescued from the street. We searched for her and the other kittens and found them scattered in the children’s playground. She was bottle-fed, vaccinated and taught to be a real house cat. She found a permanent home in Novi Sad.
We found her in the center of Belgrade. She was somebody’s, but soon enough she became nobody’s! We recovered her, vaccinated and sterilized, and we found her a home. But, alas! The foster parents returned her because she is “aggressive”. Of course not – her new adopter confirms that.
Young cat Lola spent her days in front of Belgrade’s post office. She was waiting for someone to have mercy and take her along! We knew that no one would, so we took care of her. She stayed at our place. Recovered, vaccinated and recently neutered, she is a grandmother’s best friend.
Young Gojko wandered around neighborhood for weeks. He went around the containers and froze until we took him to our place. We recovered him, vaccinated him, spayed him and found him a home with our dear neighbors.
Do you know what every dog’s biggest fear is? That he will be left! Mrvica has experienced all that and much more – petite, young, she did not deserve to be “forgotten” by her owners. Now, she has a reason to be happy again.
