Milka went to her new home in style! Like all dogs and cats from the street – Milka also dreamed of love and a warm home! Milka’s dream came true, from now on her name is Lenka and she enjoys a warm home. Many more dogs and cats from the street are looking for their homes and deserve happiness like this beauty.
We found Dana when she was only a few weeks old in the cemetery. Someone threw her out there and she was sneaking around the graveyard in search of food. She was so tiny and small. She spent almost two years with us before the wonderful young people, Marina and Edo, adopted her.
Garica is a miniature dog that has been wandering the streets of Novi Sad for months. Small in stature, she was also prey for larger dogs. We knew she wouldn’t be able to survive on the street, so we took her in with us. She waited and waited, and finally found her real home. Garica now enjoys being with Maria and has all the love and attention she longed for.
Sherry is another adorable kitten whose life got off to a sad start. We found her on the street and saved her from starvation and deadly diseases. Sherry spent a little time with us, but just enough to learn everything a young kitten needs to know and to find her the right home.
Can you imagine someone giving up such a good and beautiful dog? This is what is happening in Serbia. He wandered the streets of Belgrade, was attacked by dogs and chased by passers-by. We took care of him because he wouldn’t have survived the morning on the street. Clara, a girl with a big heart, contacted us and together with her boyfriend offered the best home for Louie.
We found a two-year-old Bell Can in the school yard when he was only a few months old. Children like children – some fed him, and others kicked him cruelly. And yet, he faithfully followed them. We sheltered him with us when there was a real danger that he would lose his life. He was with us for more than a year and finally found his forever home.
Trixie is an adorable kitten we found left in a bag. We bottle-fed her, raised her and found her the best home. Trixie is now called Durga and is enjoying spending time with her new owner.
We called him Garfield. His latest adopters call him Lenny. This guy is the record holder for the number of adoptions – he was returned from homes three times, but never through his own fault. He finally got his own space and adopters who will love and care for him.
Mia is Anja’s (now Cathy) adorable little sister. Bottle-fed, charming and mischievous. She likes to climb on furniture and suddenly appear in unusual places. We adopted her in Zemun.
Like so many other kittens, George was abandoned and dumped as a garbage as soon as he was born. We bottle-fed him and managed to save him after many sleepless nights. From a young age, he set himself up as a protector and protected his brothers. Now he is guarding his new home.
